Welcome to the Nordic ARDF Championship in Norway 2024. The Nordic ARDF Championship is an annual event, arranged this year by the Norwegian Amateur Radio Relay League. The venue will be in Oslo and all races will take place in the vicinity of the capital.

Competitions

The Nordic ARDF Championship starts with sprint competition on Friday and Classic 80m and 2m competition on Saturday and Sunday. All runners shall take all transmitters regardless of category. Classes as in the IARU ARDF Reg-1 championship. Classes will be merged in case of few competitors. Prizes for each class according to the Nordic ARDF Championship rules. Best Nordic ARDF competitor who is member of one of the Nordic ARDF Societies is awarded with walking trophy.

Booking of room as soon as possible. There is no reservation deadline, but it is recommended to book as early as possible in order to get a room.

Communication and transport

Oslo Gardermoen Airport. 25 minutes by train to Oslo with tram or subway to the event centre. Direct bus service is also available. By car-ferry from Denmark (Copenhagen) or Germany (Kiel).

Starting fee and Ham dinner to be be paid to the organizer.

It is not yet clear whether the Sunday prize ceremony will be at the finish or at the hostel, this depends on the distance to the competition area and travel time since we know most people would like to return Sunday evening.
